    Frequently asked questions

Who can list a flat or house on areprendre.com?

Private owners and professionals alike: owners, estate agents, property managers, notaries and court-appointed insolvency practitioners. You publish your listing online (photos, surface, price, description) for one month at €49 incl. tax, renewable, and your contact details appear directly on the listing.

How much does a private property listing cost?

€49 incl. tax for one month of publication, renewable. Edits are free and unlimited throughout the publication period.

Can you buy a flat or a house out of judicial liquidation?

Yes. Properties owned by a company in liquidation, or seized within insolvency proceedings, are sold under the supervision of the supervising judge (private treaty or auction). Discounts commonly reach 10% to 30% below market, in exchange for tighter deadlines and viewing conditions.

Which documents should be prepared before publishing?

The energy performance certificate (mandatory in every French listing since 2021), the Carrez surface for a condominium lot, service charges, property tax, the last three general meeting minutes and, where relevant, asbestos, lead, electricity and gas reports.

Is a notary required for a private sale?

Yes, the final deed of sale must be executed by a French notary. The preliminary contract can be signed privately. Our advisors and partner lawyers can review it and secure the conditions precedent.

Do you cover all of France and the overseas territories?

Yes: Paris and its 20 districts, the Paris region, every mainland region, plus Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Réunion and Mayotte.

    Give your home national exposure
